Below is a menu of potential visa pathways for entrepreneurs. The nonimmigrant visa pathways allows entrepreneurs to explore or start a new business in the United States. The immigrant visa pathways allows entrepreneurs who have already started or are about to start a new business in the United States to immigrate permanently to the United States.
NOn-immigrant temporary visas
Initial period of stay in the United States: visitors from visa waiver countries may enter for 90 days without a visa, others generally up to 6 months. Extensions possible.
Department of State website. Initial period of stay in the United States: Up to 2 years. May extend or renew the period of stay in 2 year increments.
