Victoria Maldonado, Paralegal. Ms. Maldonado prepares nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions as well as U.S. visa applications. Ms. Maldonado communicates with clients and works extensively on employment based immigration cases as well as DACA, U visa, family based sponsorships, and political asylum cases. Ms. Maldonado graduated from SUNY Fredonia with bachelor’s degrees in International Studies, Philosophy, and Spanish and a minor in Political Science. During her time at SUNY, Ms. Maldonado was the lead attorney for the Fredonia Mock Trial team. She worked as a research assistant for Dr. Alexander Caviedes, Professor of Political Science and International Studies, where she examined immigration patterns in Spain. For her senior capstone project, Ms. Maldonado conducted research on the economic and social situation of Venezuela, her family’s country of origin. Ms. Maldonado is fluent in Spanish and English.
